Received SMS Messages
JEEMA SMS stores all the recieved SMS messages in its inbox. The members can view their message in their inbox based on their keywords defined. If a SMS message doesnt match to any of the keyword then by default it will be stored to the administrator inbox.
Send SMS from Front-End
Sending SMS via JEEMA SMS is done from front-end and also from administrator end. This article explains about sending a text and UNICODE SMS from front-end form.
Incoming Keywords
JEEMA SMS supports master and secondary keywords. Master keywords can only be created by administrators (even for normal registered member). The secondary keywords can be created by the member itself.
How Incoming SMS works
JEEMA SMS recieves incoming messages only from your SMS gateway. It never receives the SMS message directly from the mobile user. So, the primary configuration is to check with your SMS gateway provider and make the necessary setup in the gateway to receive the SMS messages from the mobile user.
Request/Create new Sender Id (Names)
JEEMA SMS provides a view from where the SMS account members can create or request their own sender ids/names. The sender names can be reviewed and published or it can be directly published.
Listing Sender Ids (Names)
Sender ID/Name is a short text or number that can be used to notify the SMS receiver about the SMS sender. JEEMA SMS allows 3 ways of creating and configuring Sender Ids (names).
Add New Contact to Address Book
This is the view where the members can add their SMS contacts to the address book. Memmbers can type the contact details like name, email address, mobile number etc...
List Contacts (Address Book)
This is the view where the members can manage their SMS contacts (address book). Memmbers can choose the contacts and delete those contacts. And also select the contacts and send SMS.
Subscribe & Unsubscribe to Public Groups
This is one of the nice feature that enables JEEMA SMS to allow public/registered members to choose a contact group and subscribe/unsubscribe.
List SMS Contact Groups
This view will list out all the groups created by the current SMS account member. This will also provide a way to select the group and send SMS.
Bulk Upload of Contacts
Uploading bulk contacts can be done via 3 ways. This enables the SMS account member to upload his personal or public contacts to specific SMS contact group.
